Atitlan lake house
Ecological and sustainable House designed according to numerology, sacred geometry, vastu, and tantric knowledge.
Numerology based on number 3 - façade structure of 12 main poles, 36 poles, 60 diagonal poles, 108 windows, 3 rooms - polygons of 18 sides, 3 service areas - polygon of 12 sides, 333 square meters.
The house collects rainwater, treats and reuses grey water and is equipped with an anaerobic digester, biogas and solar panel system.
The entrance is where the only interception between the wall of the 18-sided polygon and the glass façade happens to create the sensation of impact, protection, and singularity.
The first floor, through which the main entrance is done, is an open living space with the guest room and kitchen.
The second floor is an art studio and technical area.
The main rooms, study area, cinema, and small living room is located on the ground floor.
All the rooms are 18-sided polygons with the bathrooms within the space.
The 12-sided polygon is the only that pierces all the house creating the zenithal illumination on the main floor. This polygon has the main stair and slide attached.
