ABOUT
The project consists of a Sports complex, which introduces two new visual axes, intending to reaffirm the continuity of the present pedestrian circulation and to return the river to the city. Formally it is composed of two rectangular boxes that are joint with a distribution central band.
The rectangular box of the swimming pools complex was inserted in the river. The benches are turned to the south. Taking benefit of solar exposition and creating a visual unit with the water element in the interior and exterior of the building.
This one is developed in an inferior height reducing the visual impact and getting closer to the water level.
The program is solved under the sitting area and in the distribution central band between the two objects.
The other rectangular box solves the multisport pavilion.
The gymnasium spaces and the bathing resorts are on the ground floor. The main field is on the first floor, where the sitting area is divided between the east and west sides. Obtaining new visual axles for the land and for the river to the usuries, or to whom observes the building from the exterior.
In both volumes have Underground Park and distinct accesses for the users of the complex and the general public.
